Dear Rev. Paul Hak Soon Chang:
Greetings in Christ:
As you are responsible leader for Korean American ministries, I wish to present our experiences at Korean Methodist Church and Institute to your office in the hope that you would lead the church into the grace directions.
GENESIS OF THE HISTORIC CHURCH ILLS
In early days, the trustees tried to protect church trust fund. In 1992 at the Board of Trustees meeting 이사회때 Rev. Won Tae Cha proposed to spend the Building Trust Fund for the general operating budget of the church in violation of the trust. The trustees disagreed with his proposal when I was the chairman of the Board because of the rules prohibit the abuse in violation of the donor’s will. This refusal was the sparking point of the violence in this historic Korean church for so long to date. [10]
When the chairman request advice from the Bishop Forest C. Stith about it,
The Bishop correctly advised the chairman to follow the donor’s will according to the church rule.
After him, other leaders showed very ambiguous knowledge on the trust fund law. As the result of such ambiguous leadership, the historic scandals have been nurtured as it is today over 20 years.
Rev. Cha was hired by the chairman, faithful elder chwe Kwang Hyuke who did not know that Rev. Cha did not have any call from any other churches at the time because of his characteristic ministry. By cheating, Rev. Cha deceptively got the salary of 2.5 times of the previous position as he did not reveal truly the facts as requested to the hiring committee, according to the church sources – the first jackpot.
YOUNG KIM’S FALSE ACCUSATION OF $60,000 ABUSE BY THE CHAIRMAN
In retaliation to the trustee’s refusal of Rev. Cha’s proposal, Young So Kim and his group started false accusations against the chairman as he embezzled $60,000 of the church trust fund, while their trustees abandoned two trust accounts in their abuse process which later recovered from the NY state by Chair Ms. Kwang Hee Kim, although the actual status of missing amounts is not clearly known yet.
YOUNG SO KIM REFUSED TO IDENTIFY MY EBEZZLEMENT
On June 19, 1996, I wrote to Young Kim questioning how he discovered my embezzled church money $60,000. But he did not answer and I wrote him again as he pretended did not receive my previous letter of July 1st.
I tried to give him another copy of it on the previous Sunday, He refused to accept it. So I mailed him another copy certified (7/1/1996). But he never answered the letter.
Evidently he falsely accused the chairman as embezzled without evidence in order to defame, harass him in malice in violation of the ethics as a college professor, not to mention Christian ethics – it was to destroy our image in the church, eventually the moral character of this historic church. .
As Young Kim is a closest associate of Rev Won Tae Cha, I requested him to verify this embezzlement issue with Young Kim. But Rev. Cha answered,
“I could not do interfere in the matter as Young Kim is one of my close friends.”
It was this clergy’s morally making such improper answer. How he can say he could not interfere in the abuse of his own church money?
CLERGY ASSAULT AGAINST THE CHAIRMAN
On June 30, 1996, there was Administrative Board Meeting. There was a motion to hear in open debate on the accused embezzlement. But Rev. Won Tae Cha in his clergy collar barred the debate in violation of Roberts Rules of Order and our faith. There were grumblings over their irregularities.
One of the members, Sung Un Kim, stood up and criticized,
”I am not saying this just because I am an attorney, but this is like a trial of the peoples’ Court”
Then, the bully unchristian clergy group decided their own investigation of the false embezzlement and dismissed the meeting.
Suddenly a woman, Kyung Hee Shin loudly shouted obscenities against the chairman. Her words could be translated into
“God damn you, son of a bitch!
Who are you? God damn …
I am the wife of Dr. Ki Duck Shin.” [11]
Her shouting obscenities were the voice of this historic horrible church. Her husband is one of the bullies in Rev. Won Tae Cha’s hate group. Rev. Won Tae Cha grabbed me, with his group and assaulted me pushing me as a cruel stupid dummy
out of the church in the church public,
Attorney Sung Un Kim witnessed the assaults.
She also perjured submitting a false affidavit against me with Columbia Prof. Dr. Kwang Taeg Rim and others in support of Steve H. Park’s false lawsuits (9/28/2001)
Eventually their investigation discovered that their accused embezzlement was false
SECRETLY ARRANGED ELDER PURGE
BY YOUNG KIM AND REV. WON TAE CHA
Young Kim resigned from the eldership of the church and secretly planed with Rev. Won Tae Cha and super Cox to purge all other elders so that they could reorganize the church in order to loot the church money freely. .
(On November 14th Sunday, Rev. Chul Woo Chang 장철우on the pulpit suddenly praised Kim amazingly, as one of the great servants for the church in honor of his mentor Rev. Won Tae Cha)
On January 11, 1998, Superintendent Rev. Carol Cox presided over the church meeting to review the reasons why they were going to purge some elders and their motives.
However, without any examination of the agenda,
Rev. Cox led the meeting to vote for purging the innocent elders. However, the superintendent did not reveal the actual tally of the votes and just announced the elders were purged accordingly. She refused to reveal the tally in malice. She and Rev. Won Tae Cha violated the church rules to help the mob agenda, treating the church members as dummies.
An officer Dr. Kyung Kim Sone asked her to reveal the tally. But Young Kim group shouted her down. [17]
SAINTLY ILLEGAL PURGES
However, about a year later, on March 7, 1999, Rev. Carol Cox revealed the tally to the church meeting as if she felt something bugging in her clergy heart, which powerfully indicate the dishonesty of the clergies and so called church leaders. Rev. Carol Cox was very friendly with Steve H. Park and Young Kim so as to do this illegal stuff freely in coordination with Amen. [13, 14]
The purge of the church officers continued under the aggressive intimidation under the leadership of Young Soo Shin, ADB chairman, brother-in law of Elder Young Bin Choo, a long time church elder 주영빈 and others walked through silently on the troubled ugly Korean church marching. Eventually the viruses have been nurturing freely. So far to date, nobody in the church is able to verify the complex deadly illness

CRYSTAL PALACE CONFESSIONS. YOUNG KIM AND STEVE H. PARK CONFIRMED THEIR FALSE LAWSUITS
According to information, Steve H. Park and Young Kim met with Elders, Dr. Young Bin Choo, Dr. Chung Shick Kim and Hyun Jung Kim at an ADB meeting on September 9th in Crystal Palace, a Chinese Restaurant, N.J., And on 27 September, 2001 and other times.
Among other things, Young Kim and Steve H. Park asked their help as they worried about their lawsuits against Dr. Sone family as they lied to the court for the fake lawsuits.
Young So Kim said to them,
“I might have to go to jail because of the lying.”
Steve H. Park said in the same way.
“If we apologize to Dr. Sone for the troubles we gave to them, then would Dr. Sone forgive us? We need your help for the problem.”
But, unfortunately they did not get any good advice from the three elders.
Consequently Steve H. Park angrily shouted at them,
“Nobody has sympathy for me,"
And he jumped out of the palace. That was "the true confession of the two conspirators". [14]
Somehow, the elders involved in the cases expected to get something for themselves too. But at least they could have made them withdraw the cases if possible in honor of Christian faith if they had one. Why they allowed them to continue criminally waste the immigrant church money?
Then, as a wise strategy, they seemed to have succeeded cheating the court system and the judges in order to avoid the jail terms through judge shopping process.

After cheating many judges, their attorney Morton Povman came to Judge F. Dana Winslow for withdrawal of the false mass murder case. The judge warned him as he knew the false case,
“If you bring this case again, you will lose your license to practice law in the state.”
The whole scenario seems to have occurred in the court of puppets or under the false clergies who misinformed the judges as if it was church related mass murder case.
Since then I asked the bishop Jeremiah J. Park and other church leaders to reveal who cheated the judge Winslow as if the case was church related although it was a fake mass murder case. So far no one revealed the truth to date to us and to the Korean immigrant church community in deception of Jesus.
The Fake M.D. and fake Columbia M. B. A. should know how they cheated the judges as if the dummies.
Remember the CUNY faculty Young Kim was one of the 6 plaintiffs, but that case was sanctioned as frivolous, perhaps they were not able to cheat the judge Sue Ann Hoahng as did cheat the judge Winslow and others. They got only a reduction of the fine. See how the Korean church smartest worked for the church!! [13]
DISCHRISTIANIZED CHURCH LEADERSHIP
CRUELTY
Thus the church’s cruel criminal mob actions progressed under such immoral pastors and un-churched official characters against our traditional faith, scapegoating the innocent victims through the fake lawsuits for many years wasting the stolen church money – successful dischritianization this historic church.
SUCCESSIVE CLERGIES COVER-UP TASKS
Who can rescue our church from this robbers’ den? In fact the church is under the control of fake Christians and embezzlers who are power hungry in the distressed immigrant life –swarmed by Fake Columbia MBA, CUNY Sophie Davis fake MD. Korean MDs, morally questionable Columbia faculties, CUNY faculties, musicians, and elders so on. Let us pray to our real poor Jesus to morally restore this historic Korean Methodist Church and Institute in good faith according to the Bible. See our church is on the wrong course for so long to date.
Remember, Jesus said to them, "It is written; My house will be called a house of prayer. But you are making it a den of thieves!" Matt 21:13.
APATHY VS. SYMPATHY
During the many court proceedings, I could not make any private protests against the falsities as it would cost more for the victims if the adversaries file more complaints against the poor victims.
Following the end of court proceedings, I tried to make Bishop Jeremiah J. Park to review the church scandals that he knew already very well through his clergies. But he bluntly blocked my emails. Rev. Cha was in the Bishop’s cabinet. Thus the bishop appeared so prejudicial.
The case was also informed to the many UMC bishops. But no interests had shown. Only outsiders, Rev. GUMMER’ and Rev. Dr. Hast emailed enlightening advices to the Bishop on the problems. [6]
Although Bishop Hee Soo Jung was informed on the church troubles, he awarded Rev. Chul Woo Chang’s ministry at his retirement service at the Korean clergy conference (4/12-15/2010, New Jersey). For a long time, they wisely employed Korean mass media, including Radio soul for their tricks
Now question is this: who can re-activate our deformed church environmental justice to clean up the aged garbage in this historic Korean Methodist Church and Institute in good Christian faith?
REV. CHANG’S CHURCH OPERATIONS:
Sunday church bulletin of 10/ 13/ 2011 announced as follows demonstrating how church walked through the congregation.
“뉴욕한인교회신영상직분임직축하예배 (Sunday church bulletin of 10 13 2011)
10월16일 (주일) 은제직임명자예배로드립니다올해은혜직분을바드신직분자들게서는사진과믿신앙경력을 (셰례바든날자등) 을사무실로보내주시기바랍니다”
Translations of the Sunday church bulletin of 10 /13 /2011, announced,
“That there is going to be a special celebration worship service to honor newly appointed spiritual church officers. We request the appointed officers submit their pictures, church faith careers, including the date of baptism to the church office.”
This announcement clearly indicates how the ministries have created their power structures in the church against every aspect of the traditionally written or unwritten church rules against our faith. Imagine what kind people are controlling the Church administration. Virtually the same elements seem to dominating it now. Most of the current staffs were involved in the cruel fake lawsuits against the victims, wasting church money to place the church in current position. Amazingly there are at least 12 elders are in the office who knows how they led the church to date.
Did anyone see anything quite like these church viruses anywhere?
Let us visit 10 commandments to reflect our faith. Some body should teach them how to follow Jesus accordingly.
Evidently our Rev. Yong Bong Lee seems to have yet confused in appreciating the complex moral problems of this historic church.
REV. YONG BO LEE’S EASTER SUNDAY CALL
After this year’s Easter Sunday, Rev. Yong Bo Lee gracefully made a phone call visitation to my residence,
“Why did you not come to the Easter Sunday?
Service?”
I answered,
” My son wanted to attend at the Fifth Ave. Presbyterian Church as our children used do it during their student days. But the church is very active with a large congregation now.”
But Rev. Lee did not seem to understand our sentiments why we did not attend our church Easter Service this time.
The reason was of our horrors experienced from the
DisChristianized brutalities of this church against our family.
Especially this Easter Sunday reminded our family to retrace our sufferings that caused by unchristian Rev. Won Tae Cha group for more than quarter century – the mental anguishes we received from the church financed three lawsuits against my beloved wife, son and me.
The most painful part of the lawsuits was Rev. Cha group’s charge me and my beloved son as attempted mass murderers and we had to face the massive mentally, emotionally, medically, destructive sufferings from these so called hypocritical un-Christian leaders for long time – mockery criminal church movement to successfully hijack the church.
Especially my son could not humiliate himself for the Easter service subjecting himself to such unrepentant cruel church. It is very uneasy to be in this church as she is under the control of the uneasy elements. What could they teach their own children from this church?
Remember, during their victory marching, one Sunday there were only less than 10 worshipers during Rev. Sung Soo Hahn. If they learn how the clergy team cheated the court system for commercialized church, they could really understand the meaning of Easter or the sacraments – Is their monthly sacrament a victory ritual without repentance?
HOW TO RVIVE OUR CHRISTIAN SPIRIT?
Let us pray for the souls involved in the shame to repent and come back to Jesus as a spiritual revival.
As Rev. Paul Hak Soon Chang is one of the high ranking UMC Korean clergies as the executive director, please share it openly with Rev. Yong Bo Lee and with your co-leagues as it is a church public issue and initiate a corrective steps of this long standing deviant administration of this historic church, including the administrative spirit of the New York Episcopacy which revealed her moral weakness fostering the illnesses through the years.
I do not know the UMC church administrations prior to Rev. Cha. But all the church leadership we had since Rv. Cha seemed to have demonstrated their unfaithful ministries to this historic Korean congregation. [15]
The present messages are very fragmentary as whole picture is too massive to present. A new church leadership should start the following corrective measures.
1. RECOVER $2 MILLION ANTIQUE?
To recover the antique bath tub is one of the major steps for the revival of this historic church. For it is this historic church’s treasure as well as Korean national treasure. However, so far nobody in the congregation seems to care about its recovery. Rev. Won Tae Cha cell should know who owns it now. Also the church financial records would indicate who paid for whom, of course, including the court trial fees at which Rev. Cha testified that the antique bath tub would value at $2 million, according to his court interpreter, Mr. Pyun.
But the legal owner is the Korean Methodist Church and Institute. So far so sadly there is no voice from anybody from the sleepy dead church and it is not possible to get any assistance from any American church public either as well as from any Korean church public until they wake up.
At some point, the Korean government authority should
involve for the recovery task as it is a Korean national treasure too.
2. AUDIT THE CHURCH FINANCICAL RECORDS
1) The official audit should be done in good faith since the appointment of Rev. Won Tae Cha to date to verify the financial abuses for their fake mass murder lawsuits charges and other lawsuits demanding $8 million from the innocent victims. They played the Taliban like cruel games against their innocent scapegoats, deceiving the congregation.
2) Investigate the lost building fund $185,000.00 under the leadership of then church officers and other embezzlements.
3) Recover some of them from the church insurance companies and the abusers.
4) Make public announcements to Americans as well as to Korean people, as soon as possible, revealing our faithful moral recovery of this historic Korean Methodist Church and Institute against the past evils.
5) Review the faith or moral qualities of Rev. Chang and others to demonstrate if our church truly followed her historical standing faith.
3. PRESERVE THE ARCHIVES, CLERGY CRIMINAL
RECORDS
The court documents are valuable records of UMC faith leaderships which are very valuable educational materials for our posterities – complaints, answers, motions, affidavits, deposition transcripts, especially deposition transcripts of Mr. Deuk Joo Chun’s testimony for the sanctioned fake case. It costs $1300, which would reveal how Rev. Won Tae Cha group abused the church treasure and its name – reflecting the mental or psychopathic deviant conditions of the so called church leadership – How they cheated the court system in Jesus name? – According to their gospel.
The executive director Rev. Paul Hak SoonChang must understand that the Korean Methodist Church and Institute should preserve these historic papers which would have great market values too as the historic clergy criminal documents paid with the donations.
I have learned that you are going to lead our church retreat, August 23-25
. I pray for it to be a graceful occasion for the participants under the executive director’s leadership.

For it is a golden opportunity for you to demonstrate
your faithful ideal guidance to the congregation, what is the duty to be the individual attendants as a member of believers?
As you are in the very important position for Korean churches as the Executive Director of American Korean Ministries, I have tried to present to your office some of our church problems to be considered, some how rhetorically abrasive in certain degree as they are realistically so.
The shames of this historic church are well known to the public demonstrating high degree hypocrisies of its leadership. The former pastor of this church Rev. Won Tae Cha and his associates ruined the church’s traditions, totally defacing the Christian images under the unfaithful church leadership as they looted, even her historic treasure, the antique bathtub. In an earlier event, they destroyed the negotiated Columbia’s good will to sell the attached property to us for $750, 000.00, (in c1992) because of ambitious ignorant maliciously jealousy unruly interference by the lower quality of human morality and deviant mentality on the old church records of a quarter century since the assignment of Rev. Cha.
Eventually the Jesus businessmen hijacked the church administration and looted it. Thus, she is stuck to the current situation.
See how many new Korea churches were established in large scales in the Korean community while this church has been involved in the hypocritical task to dischristianize it in various greedy ways,
The church business seems to be completely apathetic to her own declining fate now under the complete control of these remaining cell elements even if some major stars left the scene. Their hypocrisies should not be appeased in any means until they repent and restore the damages for the church. [4]

Please share this mission messages with your leaders in order to revive this historic Korean Methodist Church and Institute and to upgrade the moral qualities of the church leadership. Remember if it is a Korean fate! “Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?” (Mat 6:27)
